A plain, honest explanation of how this site works financially. Last updated: June 2026.

The Short Version

This site may earn a commission if you visit a school's website or inquire through a link on this site. That relationship does not change what I write. I only recommend programs I genuinely believe are worth your time to research.

Who Runs This Site

My name is Alex. I'm an ARMRIT-certified MRI technologist working in Orange County, California. I built this site because when I was researching MRI programs a few years ago, I couldn't find a single resource that laid everything out clearly without burying me in sales pitches.

This is a personal site. There's no editorial team, no editorial board, no company behind it. It's just me, updating information when I can, based on what I know and what I can verify.

How the Site May Earn Revenue

Running a website costs money - hosting, domain, and the time it takes to maintain it. To offset that, this site uses affiliate-style arrangements:

  • 1.
Outbound school links: When you click "Visit Website" on a school listing, I may earn a small referral fee. The school pays this - you pay nothing extra, and it has no effect on tuition or your application.
  • 2.
Featured placements: A school may pay to appear in a highlighted position. If that's the case, the listing is shown with a highlighted blue border to distinguish it from non-sponsored listings.

What This Doesn't Change

Whether or not a school has any kind of arrangement with this site, I describe every program the same way - program length, credential pathway, location, financial aid availability. I don't inflate descriptions for schools I earn from or hide negatives.

Every school listed gets the same format and the same information categories
Salary data, certification requirements, and regulatory info are based on publicly available sources (BLS, ARRT, ARMRIT, CDPH) - not school marketing
I don't include schools I can't verify basic facts about - address, accreditation, program type

FTC Disclosure

This disclosure is made in compliance with FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), which require that material connections between a content publisher and a brand be clearly disclosed. If you click a link on this site and a school pays me a referral fee as a result, that is a material connection - and that's what this page discloses.
